We are delighted to congratulate consortium member Prof. André Charette, who has been awarded the Compagnon de Lavoisier distinction, the highest honour bestowed by the Ordre des Chimistes du Québec.
A leading figure in modern synthetic chemistry, Prof. Charette has made exceptional contributions to stereoselective synthesis, pioneered advances in green chemistry and continuous-flow synthesis, and helped elevate the profession nationally and internationally. His work has also played a key role in the emergence of Médicament Québec, a UdeM-led initiative aimed at strengthening the province’s capacity for innovative and secure pharmaceutical production.
This prestigious recognition reflects both the excellence of his scientific career and the spirit of innovation he brings to the consortium.
